We all know that kids have a wonderful way of being brutally honest. What makes it so wonderful is there is nothing but purity at the heart of their answers. Kids are not tempered by a politically correct filter, and most of the time, their responses are not an attempt at emotional manipulation.
Every once in a while I see these posts going around Facebook where you should ask your kids to respond to a set of questions. These are also a particular favorite activity for preschool teachers to have the students present for Mother’s Day gifts. If you have kids over the age of 3 or 4, I’m sure you’ve received one of these “hey mom, here’s what your kid really thinks about you” gifts.
Life can get a whole lot more interesting when you ask a 13-year old to answer those questions. Anything could have come out of her mouth, and I would share it with you all the same. So, here is a getting to know me through the eyes of my teenage daughter.
If you have not tried this with your kids, I dare you to do it. What did you think about this? Would you like to see me post more of these types of get to know me quizzes? Should I ask my 10-year old the same questions?
