During the month of March, we celebrate Women’s History Month. My son recently asked why we have Black History Month and Women’s History Month. In his mind, there is no prejudice that would necessitate a special month. While I think this is a promising sign for the future of feminism, it also made me think a lot about the need to continue celebrating Women’s History Month.   From the dawn of time, women have been crucial to our history. how to choose a college

It’s that time in the United States when high school juniors are starting to make a list of college to which they will apply and high school seniors are deciding which offer to accept for the fall semester. Really, there is no way you can win Valentine’s Day, and I think that’s why I really don’t like it all that much.   The pressures of Valentine’s… Read more »

Vision boards have become increasingly popular over the last few years thanks to Pinterest. I’ve read a lot of articles about why you should have a vision board and what you should do with it, and this year I decided to finally make one. The one problem I had when creating my vision board was the fact that I don’t have a clear and definite focal point for the future, which is one of the main points of a vision… Read more »
