talk to teens about terrorism

Last night a bomber attacked a crowd of teens and parents of young girls leaving an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester, England. The news came as a particular shock to us because my daughter and I had attended Ariana’s concert in New Orleans just a few weeks ago. My daughter is a huge Ariana Grande fan. So, this is probably the first time that a terrorist attack has touched her in a personal way.   As parents of teens, we’ve… Read more »

As a result, I veered off course and just started experimenting with content that I thought would be fun to make.   One thing that… Read more »

If you’ve been following along on my journey of personal discovery this year, you will know that I have been looking deep into myself to find my passion and my purpose. For my whole life, I’ve felt like the purpose of my gifts and talents was so much bigger than the small towns to which they have been confined. Part of finding the answers to my questions this year has been confronting that nagging feeling that just would not go… Read more »
